On 19^th January, 2020 Mr. Narendra Gandhi of Gandhi Optics, Gumanpura, Kota tested the eyes of 110 of the oldest and poorest women weavers in Kaithoon.

One week later the spectacles were distributed. The spectacles were sponsored by Gulnar Bandukwala in memory of her mother Mrs. Fatema Bandukwala. We are grateful to her and to Gandhi Optics. The camp was held at the Common Facilitation Centre in Kaithoon which was badly flooded during the 2019 monsoon, destroying all looms and equipment on the ground floor.
